Lindon Days committee members are taking registration for the city celebration’s carnival fair booths. Deadline for registration is Aug. 1 and the fair is Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lindon City Park, 200 N. State St. Commerical booths are $50 and games are $40. Booth applications can be downloaded from the city’s Web site at www.lindoncity.org or picked up at the city offices, 100 S. State St.

Lindon City Council members want residents and business owners to know about property tax increases being considered and have posted information at www.lindoncity.org/government.proptaxinfo.html. There will be one of two open house events on July 21 at 5:20 p.m. at the city offices, 200 N. State St.

The annual Lindon Days celebration will be held Aug. 1-8. This traditional community event has something for everyone, from 3-on-3 basketball, to a parade, to fireworks. More information and details about specific events will be available in the coming weeks. The Lindon City Aquatics Center is open east of Lindon City
Offices, 100 N. State St. Coolers are not allowed inside the facility.
Concessions are available at the pool. Children under the age of 9 must be
accompanied by an adult while at the pool, and children under the age of 6 must
be accompanied in the water by an adult at all times.
