Donations needed to help family with ailing baby
Posted by: Our Towns Host at 9:19AM UMDT on July 29, 2009
The Aaron and Shannon Nelson family’s baby, Lucas, was
born with an extremely rare cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. This
therapy will make Lucas very vulnerable to diseases. A fund has been
established at Zions Bank to assist the Nelsons. If you wish to contribute,
you can go to any Zions Bank location and ask to contribute to the “Lucas
Tyler Nelson Donation.”

The funds will be used to finish the Nelsons’ basement in their townhome. The finished basement will give the family another living room, bedroom and bathroom, with enough separation from Lucas to minimize infection/disease brought into the home. If you have any questions or wish to donate in another way (labor, material, etc.), contact Roger Proctor at (801) 891-7820 or at rsproc@gmail.com.
