Lindon City will hold an election in November to elect two City Council seats with four-year terms and one mayoral seat with a four-year term. In order to file a declaration of candidacy, you must be a citizen of the United States at the time of filing, be a registered voter and be a resident of the municipality for a minimum of 365 consecutive days preceding the date of the election.

If you meet these requirements and are interested in serving the community, a declaration of candidacy may be filed in the office of the City Recorder from July 1-15, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call Debbie Cullimore at the City Center, (801) 785-5043, if you have questions about the upcoming election.
