Dr. Denise Stephens is a professor of Astronomy at Brigham Young University. She is also a mother of five children living here in Spanish Fork. On Saturday May 16, you will find Dr. Stephens and her kids at BYU participating in Astrofest Day. Astrofest is a day full of fun Astronomy Activities for the whole family that Dr. Stephens has helped to organize to celebrate the International Year of Astronomy. It's being held at the BYU Wilkinson Center Terrace and the Eyring Science Center. There will be free planetarium shows, hands on activities, solar telescopes, etc.. Full details and a list of activities can be found on the BYU webpage at http://www.physics.byu.edu by clicking on the link for the international year of astronomy.
